A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Association for Independent Living (AVI), headed by Mr. Agustí Montal, president of AVI, and held on July 1st 2009, approved the incorporation of L’Aliança and Agrupació Mutua as new partners.

MUTUAM and Mutual Medica created two years ago the AVI, which aims to improve the autonomy of dependent people and / or disabled through the use of support.

A year ago opened the Independent Living Centre (CVI), a place where an interdisciplinary team provides a real assesment and assistance  to dependents and / or disabilities and is also on research and technical support for technology products.

With the addition of two new entities are intended to promote the project, open to the entire society, and to improve the quality of life of people dependent and / or disabilities.
