The AVANTE fair, held in Barcelona between the 5th and the 7th of June, is the first multisectorial fair that promotes the creation, development and commercialization of new technologies, products and services for the improvement of personal autonomy and the quality of life of dependent people.

This first edition, that confirmed the growing interest for such products and services, was attended by 9.000 persons, mostly professionals, and almost 1.000 participated in seminars and conferences. Next AVANTE fair will take place in 2010.

From its stand, CVI showed its facilities and services both to the general public and to professionals related with dependence. The fair allowed the CVI to know about the latest innovations in these areas and to establish contacts with other professionals, organizations and entities.
